CANYON RESCUE MEDICINE
A 5-day accredited Wilderness Medicine course in the complex and beautiful canyons of the Blue Mountains. Providing Continuing Professional Development credits, Wilderness Medicine accreditation, scenario-based training and roping instruction.
RescueMED and Roam Adventures and Training is proud to present a new course for medical professionals. This course is for paramedics, doctors or Wilderness Medicine practitioners requiring accreditation, Continuing Professional Development, or scenario-based training.
More than just medical training this course will teach self-management in austere environments, instructing beginner roping skills in essential self-management, safety and canyoning skills.
The course is delivered by Critical Care Flight Paramedics, medical professionals and adventure guides, covering a wide range of topics in planning for wilderness activities and medical response.
It is a fantastic opportunity to learn vital skills from adventure and medical care professionals, to get in touch with likeminded practitioners or springboard into a new professional pathway.
